What were some highlights from your time in Morocco?
– Chefchaouen was an astonishing start point, and a beautiful city in a very impressive setting. Not to be missed.
– The Riads in Fes, Marrakesh and Essaouira were beautiful and very comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff.
– The visit to the Roman ruins at Volubilis was spectacular.
-The foot and motor tours of Fes, Marrakesh and Essaouira were very well planned and laid on, with Majid providing important historical context.
How was our driver Majid?
-Majid was simply outstanding. With excellent English and a friendly, humorous attitude, he was the ideal guide throughout the countryside and cities we visited. His impressive knowledge of Moroccan history was such an asset as we visited such a variety of places. Nothing was too much for him and he organised the highly efficient movement of our luggage between accomodation and our vehicle. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
