We took the 2 weeks Morocco tour and there are so many highlights from our trip. A sunset Camel ride in the secluded desert dunes followed by a delicious Moroccan dinner and magical evening bongo music by a bonfire with rhythmic dancing by our fellow guests.

A spontaneous stop along the highway to visit a happy nomad, his campsite and to view his unique lifestyle. Viewing multiple goats in a argan tree and while clinging to a five day old adorable goat. Visiting a Moroccan winery that just happens to have your family name, Baccari! Who would believe finding an Italian named winery in Morocco that shares your family name. The Moroccan people: their history and ‘melting pot’population, their love of family, religion, welcoming nature and respect of their elders.
Our driver was Hamid, he spoke excellent English and had excellent knowledge of his country. Hamid was very attentive to our needs. We felt safe with his driving skills and interaction with others. He had a excellent network of friends across the country. Many people we encountered commented on his excellence as a guide. We would request Hamid as a driver if we were to visit Morocco again or recommend him to friends.
Our favorite accommodations were: Riad Myra – elegant and friendly staff. Dot celebrated a memorable birthday there. Marhaba Desert Luxury Camp – provided a fun and friendly experience, could not believe the swimming pool! Appreciated the luxuries of air conditioning and bathroom fixtures. L’Ma Lodge – the most beautiful place we stayed at. Belongs in Architectural Digest. The Belgian hostess was excellent. Her attention to detail in every area was extraordinary. The meal was great. Truly an oasis of beautiful landscaping. Could have spent more time there. A++. Riad Le Clos Des Arts – wonderful place. Another A+ We had a couple hammam there. What an experience! Maximo was so interesting and dinner was superb. We could have spent more time bonding with him. We would return in a heartbeat.
Riad Chbanate and Dar Meziana were also nice. Lack of owners present made these a little less special. But staff were pleasant. The Repose was enjoyable our first night with English speaking Jan. She set a nice intro to Morocco and what to expect. Riad Madu – although impressive and adequate lodging. It lacked the friendliness and cuisine excellence of other establishments. Overall Experience It! excelled at choice of accommodations!
It was impressive that Jill and her associate from Experience It! were there to meet us in Fez. That extra effort was noted and appreciated. It spoke well for the company.
Also along our travel, we did meet a couple other folks who booked through Experience It! and had nothing but positive comments about the company. Good job guys!
