We are home after a 25 day journey which included 12 in Morocco. Here are some comments:
First off we loved Morocco. We loved learning about the culture, the food, wandering thru the Medinas and coming “home” to our welcoming Riads. And the mint tea.
As you might recall, we were hesitant about a tour, never did one. At 74 and 71 years old with some limit to our walk speed and other preferences tours weren’t for us. Experience It Tours accommodated any preferences we had and made the tour special. Our driver Kareem was superb, handing us off to guides and restaurants seemlessly. By the end of the 12 days he was like an old friend.
Best experiences, seeing the tannery, pottery making, walking thru the incredible Le Fes Medina, walking through a little bit eery Medina area one night with a restaurant worker showing us the way into a beautiful restaurant with great food and service. What a pleasant surprise.
And then there was the waitress who served us for a few days in Marrakech dancing with with Diana on our last night.
Restaurant selections were good to excellent, not a bad one in the lot. Everything was handled well. Yes, we’d recommend Experience It’s Tours and the wonderful country of Morocco.
One piece of information, FYI. My wife Diana asked at the last minute about first floors to avoid stairs. That was accommodated, all first floors except the Casablanca hotel which had elevators. However, you should know that our riads in Marrakech and Fes had elevators, so no need for the first floor.
