We loved our trip to Morocco. Experience It was a great company. You furnished us with lots of information in advance that was helpful. We would definitely go with your company again to another destination and highly recommend Experience It.
The highlights of Morocco included: Fes. The personal “local” guide was fabulous. We loved walking through the historic medina. We enjoyed our visit to Marrakech, especially during Ramadan. We were able to see the evening prayer at the local mosque. Again, the “local” guide was fabulous. The scenery throughout the Atlas Mountain ranges of Morocco were beautiful. We enjoyed our camel trek through the Sahara desert. Although, we were dropped off at the hotel site at least three hours before we left on the camel trek. We were told to bring the “bare” minimum for the trek. We were not informed that the hotel had a pool available to swim and the temperature for the day was in the 90s. The rooms did not have air conditioning, so we ended up staying outside in the shade. We were so hot, we swam in our clothes!!. I got physically sick with a headache because of the heat, and we were not provided with any food. I think it would be better if the timing was more coordinated with the camel departure. That was disappointing.
Mohammad, our driver, was excellent. He was very informative and personable. We enjoyed our days with him. Our accommodations were satisfactory. We chose three-star accommodations and were pleased with all of them. The company’s service was great from beginning to end. I also believe the cost of the trip was worth its value, especially considering it was a private tour for three people.
