We are still savouring our memories from Morocco which were just fantastic. Our absolute favourite was the desert. Despite the heat we enjoyed the entire camp for just the two of us and the tents with air conditioning were just fabulous. To be able to sit at night and watch the stars was something else. I don’t know if you have been to the Australian outback but it was very similar from that point of view.
All the hotels were fantastic. Our most favourite was in Marrakech, the Clos des Arts was fantastic and the owners just delightful.
As I mentioned Youssef was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and he really made an effort for us to appreciate the Moroccan culture in all its glory. He is a keeper!
We do hope to return to Morocco at some point.
