Our trip was excellent. I would like to thank you and your colleagues at Experience It, especially with all of your assistance with our stolen credit card (in Lisbon). Every detail of our trip in Morocco was handled perfectly and efficiently by the Experience It staff from my initial inquiry to the moment we left Morocco. I highly recommend Experience It and I will write a 5* review on Trip Advisor so that others will know.
My favorite part of the trip was the time that we spent in the Sahara. This travel experience ranks in our top 2 most unique travel experiences and I would highly recommend it. The camel ride was fun and the guide was very entertaining. The desert was beautiful. I was very impressed with the operation at La Belle Etoile. The deluxe Berber tent was quite comfortable considering where it is located. It was pretty amazing that there were showers and toilet facilities in the room. The dinner that was served was quite excellent as well.
The other hotels, specifically La Maison Arabe in Marrakech and La Maison Bleu in Fes, that we stayed in were exceptional as well. Both of our rooms were beautiful (almost over the top deluxe) with very comfortable mattresses. The staff at both hotels were extremely good. La Maison Arabe felt extremely comfortable and homey. The cooking class that we took there was a lot of fun. The staff were great. Between the two hotels, we preferred the food at La Maison Arabe. Dinner was excellent and the atmosphere was superb. I am not too big on breakfast buffets but the one at La Maison Arabe was excellent.
The Xaluca Dades hotel was nice but it obviously was not in the same league as the La Maison Arabe and La Maison Bleu. There were busloads of people staying there and it was quite hectic. The buffet dinner was decent. Our room was perfectly comfortable. Given the location of the hotel, it was quite good but the busloads of people detracted from the atmosphere, making it a type of mass production hotel. But again, considering the location of the hotel, it was good.
Our driver, Youssef, was excellent as well. We enjoyed the time that we spent with him and felt like we were in very good hands. The van was also very comfortable.
Traveling to Morocco was definitely one of our most interesting and different travel destinations. I am very glad that we chose Experience It to handle our travel arrangements and would definitely recommend your company without hesitation.
