Highlights of our tour:
Fes: We Loved the medina in Fes and really enjoyed the dyeing vats. We stood out on the veranda over the vats for a very long time just watching the process. It was so interesting.
Desert: The camel ride and the camp was great. Our camel guide was wonderful and added to our enjoyment. The camp was very nice but it would have been nicer if the other guests spoke English, they all spoke Spanish. It was wonderful anyway.
We went to the coast and spent the night in Essaouira, which was nice, and the following morning, on out way to Casablanca, stopped at a spot just south on the Medina in Essaouira. We stopped so I could ride a camel, that I had spotted the previous day, along the beach. I could have done that all day long. The camel guy allowed me to ride along the beach with the camel and it was like a dream. What a way to end a Morocco vacation.
Driver: Ryad was amazing…I wanted to take him home. His knowledge of the country was incredible. My husband, Hans, being a huge history buff, talked to him non stop while we were driving the country side, and Ryad had all the answers. We were very impressed. He was both informative and protective. At the end of the trip I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend.
Accommodations: Very good. Chechaouen, Marrakech and Fes Riads were great.
All the accommodations were wonderful as well, but I really enjoyed the charm of the upscale Riads.
Company Service: First class all the way. I was impressed with the quick responses to all my questions during the year of planning our trip.
Recommendations: Absolutely, I would recommend you to anyone wishing to travel Morocco.
Say “hi” to Ryad for us.
Thanks for all your help,
