Which tour did you take? Morocco 16 day tour March 21 – April 6, 2025
What was the highlight(s) of your trip? Many include the Hassan.II mosque, Chefchaouen the blue city, a night in the desert, the visit to cave home in BHALIL, focus on Jewish history, the wonderful drive in the Atlas mountains, as well as the Tours in Essaouira and Marrakesh.
Are there any places/activities that you’d advise leaving out in the future? Why? no
Would you recommend Experience It Tours? Absolutely! Without any hesitation.
Who was your driver? Youssef El Mouhajir (Joe)
How would you rate his English? Excellent
How would you rate his knowledge of the country? Excellent
Any other comments about your driver: Joe was exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, flexible, and fun to spend time with. We had a lot of laughs!. He was particularly sensitive to my wife’s mobility needs and arranged to have a stool made to help her in and out of the vehicle. He was a large part of why the trip was such a success.
What did you think of the accommodations on this tour? Excellent
Please list your favourite accommodations on the trip. We enjoyed all the accommodations and would rate Kasbah Tamodot, Riad Myra and La Doge as our favorites. L’Heure Blue provided us with a small room compared to the others and Kasbah Le Moun is a new facility and the service staff were somewhat green, even though the owner was trying very hard.
Please specify if there were some hotels/riads you were not happy with and why: As noted above.
Any other comments you want to share: Our overall experience was very positive and particularly appreciated the assistance of your office staff in helping us through some of the logistics, including payments. Amy and Lorre were very helpful. We also had the opportunity of meeting Jill in Fez as she went out of her way to a welcome us. This was a very nice touch and much appreciated.
