What was the highlight of your trip? Everything. Medinas, Riads, donkeys along the road, Market towns, camel ride, castles, views of mountains, food, pottery, weaving, music, weather.
Are there any places you’d advise leaving out in the future? None.
Would you recommend Experience It Tours? Absolutely. Without any hesitation.
How was your driver? Youssef Maamri’s English and knowledge of the country was excellent. Driving was great. got us where we needed to be on time. Great guide for everything we saw. Knew many languages and could ask locals questions if he didn’t know something we asked. Never got lost in the medinas. Willing to stop to take pictures or see something closer. Talked about Islam in Morocco when asked.
How were your accommodations? Excellent, all were great. Riads in the medinas, walking distance from most things.
Any other comments? The roads were good. I was surprised to see the major toll roads and highways to major cities. Other intercity roads were good and well maintained. Everywhere was clean and smelled good. Except for blowing plastic in the countryside, very little trash. I felt safe at all times. I was surprised at how modern and old Morocco were side by side.
