Finally I am home, almost unpacked and with a few spare minutes to tell you about our wonderful Morocco trip. Our driver/guide Hamid is a treasure. We can’t thank him enough for his calm nature, kindness, patience, sense of humour and for imparting some of his incredible knowledge of the history of his country. Not to mention his wonderful driving skills. We felt very well cared for and safe at all times during our trip and our Moroccan experience would not have been the same without him. He went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and that our needs were met, even patiently stopping the car regularly at short notice so that we could jump out and take photos. Thank you so much Hamid. You are worth your weight in gold.
Please also thank your team on the ground in Morocco, in particular Sera and Jill, who went above and beyond to assist us in our request to change hotels at short notice when we were unhappy with the level of accommodation and services provided at our next to last scheduled stop. Their care, kindness and willingness to oblige us was sincerely appreciated and ensured that our trip ended in comfort and on a happy note. We saw and learnt so much about Morocco during our time there and it’s hard to choose a highlight but definitely the trip to the desert camp was an amazing experience. Our tents were beyond luxurious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the camel ride through the dunes to watch the sunset and the memories will be long-lasting, not least because of the hundreds of photos we took. The food in the camp was also delicious.
We cannot fault Experience It Tours and our experience from first contact until journey’s end was exceptional. Thank you to you and Amy for your work in getting the trip organised and accommodating our requests. We would highly recommend Experience It Tours to anyone who is planning to visit Morocco.
