Our stay in the Sahara is the highlight our trip. Our driver Toufik spoke excellent English. After spending 11 days with someone, you realize how important it is to like them and enjoy their company. Larry and I thoroughly enjoyed out time with Toufik. He is smart, thoughtful, anticipates the needs of his clients, has a good sense of humor, is very knowledgeable on many topics, and an all around great guy. He never skipped a beat throughout the trip.
The accommodations on the this were excellent. Almost all of our riads were terrific. It is hard to say which we liked best because they were unique in their own way.
Our time in Morocco was so much more than a trip – it was a learning experience, an adventure and a cultural awakening. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to leave their cocoon and have their heart and mind opened to a beautiful place and culture.
