We took Morroco – Fabulous Fortnight tour. The tour provided an excellent coverage of the areas of Morocco. It was good to experience the contrast of rural and urban areas and the difference in the country between north and south of the Atlas Mountains. A particular highlight was Chefchaouen in the Rif mountains.
Youssef is an excellent driver and guide. He is a competent, unflustered driver and navigator through challenging traffic conditions. Youssef is knowledgeable about his country’s history and enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge and his pride in Morocco. He has an excellent command of English, easy going personality, flexibility and good sense of humor which made him good company on our tour. We would highly recommend him.
The accommodation was high quality and it was worthwhile staying right in the centre of the “old” city to be able to wander and explore. It is hard to separate each accommodation, but I think my favorite was the Riad Myra in Fez and Riad Le Clos Des Arts in Marrakech.
A wonderful country and a memorable experience. A trip I would definitely recommend to take with a guide and driver.
