How Experience It Was Born
In 2001, I moved with my family to Morocco and fell in love with the country. One year later, I partnered with my father-in-law, Paul Brown, to create our family-owned tour company that would allow travelers to truly experience Morocco for themselves. Since then, our tour company has expanded, both within the family and outside the family. We have served over 10,000+ travelers in Morocco and now expanded to offer authentic experiences in Oman, Sri Lanka, Kenya and the North Caucasus Mountains of Russia, each with their own in-country experts.

Our Leadership & Vision
At the heart of Experience It Tours is a leadership team with decades of Morocco expertise. Jeff, our CEO and Founder, fell in love with Morocco in 2001 when he moved his family there, and has been creating private experiences for 24 years. Alongside him, Ellen, our Documentation Specialist, has been with us since day one, personally preparing every informational packet we send to travelers. Our Morocco Manager Aaron brings over 17 years of in-country experience, personally interviewing drivers and guides while maintaining quality control for all tours. Amy serves as our COO and Administrator, ensuring seamless coordination of every journey detail, while Joe, our Finance Director of 12+ years, handles all financial operations and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Our dedicated sales team transforms your Morocco dreams into reality. Lorre, our Senior Sales Representative with 16+ years of experience, serves as the initial point of contact, crafting perfect customized itineraries and selecting ideal accommodations. Brian, our Sales Representative who lived in Morocco for 14 years, brings unique cultural insight as he helps clients experience the real treasure of Morocco—its people. Bethany, our Multi-Role Specialist and Jeff’s daughter who grew up in Morocco, handles administrative work, bookkeeping, and manages our social media, sharing her genuine love for the country and team. Together, they ensure every traveler receives personalized attention from the very first conversation.
Our Morocco Operations Team
Our on-ground team in Morocco makes the magic happen daily. Jill, our Director of Services based in Fes with 16 years of experience, carries the 24/7 emergency phone and oversees everything from hotel reservations to driver scheduling, treating our drivers and guides like family. Saliha, our Head of Agency with 20 years of experience, manages daily operations with incredible problem-solving skills and established relationships with service providers. Our reservation specialists—Soumia (11+ years), who brings joy and laughter to the office; Khadija (5+ years), who meticulously handles bookings and documentation; and Zineb (nearly 1 year), who brings fresh energy and dedication to learning—work as a tight-knit family to ensure every detail of your journey is perfectly coordinated. This exceptional team doesn’t just provide tours; they provide peace of mind and create lifelong memories.
This first-hand knowledge is part of what sets our company apart. We work with Jill who leads the Reservation Team in Morocco, our local partners. They provide us with excellent services and contract experienced drivers and guides from the pool of those we know so well.

We want to make sure that our clients are truly cared for at top-quality standards. We decided 10 years ago to live in each country we promote and to understand the culture, people and places of our host country. We want to offer safe, authentic travel experiences and not rely on someone else on the ground to design our tours.

We have done our best to “handpick” each of our drivers, guides and pool of accommodations we recommend. Why leave your trip up to chance? You can be worry-free, because we know the people who will be taking care of you.

What sets a company apart is how they respond when something goes wrong. Within our power, we go above and beyond to help clients with issues that arise when traveling abroad. Each traveler will have the phone number of our American representative in Morocco and the representative will be ready and eager to assist you to the best of their ability.
4. We are committed to custom design
From the very beginning, we built this company by listening to your desires and creating trips that matched. We are committed to custom-design travel! We don’t use fancy software to generate tours from a box, but create each tour by hand, listening to you and your needs. We’ve adjusted our recommendations based on hundreds of travelers’ feedback, as well as our firsthand experience.
5. We keep a high standard of quality – even if it means sacrificing number of tours
We have decided never to let money to be the driving factor of our business or our tours. We offer high quality tours at an incredible value. Once we have booked out our handpicked drivers or accommodations, we shut down our tours. We are advocates of responsible tourism, with the end goal to provide the most benefit to each concerned.
