Experience It Tours specializes in private, custom design tours. Each itinerary is made up of two ingredients: your travel dreams and the firsthand experience of our Morocco experts.
How Experience It Was Born
In 2001, I moved with my family to Morocco and fell in love with the country. One year later, I partnered with my father-in-law, Paul Brown, to create our family-owned tour company that would allow travelers to truly experience Morocco for themselves. Since then, our tour company has expanded, both within the family and outside the family. We have served over 5,000 travelers in Morocco and now expanded to offer authentic experiences in Oman, Sri Lanka, Kenya and the North Caucasus Mountains of Russia, each with their own in-country experts.
Our Team – Where We Are Now
We believe that it is important to have experience ourselves in the countries where we are guests. Because of this, members of our team live in various locations around the world and are linked by the internet.
Paul & Ellen (Documentation) live at the family farm in upstate New York.
Joe (Finance Manager), his wife Lorre (Sales), Ruth (Administrator), and Lori (Administrator) reside in Florida, where Experience It Tours is registered.
Aaron (Country Manager), Brian (Sales), Bethany (Sales) and Marcos (Marketing) live and work in Morocco.
This first-hand knowledge is part of what sets our company apart. We work with Jill who leads the Reservation Team in Morocco, our local partners. They provide us with excellent services and contract experienced drivers and guides from the pool of those we know so well.

We want to make sure that our clients are truly cared for at top-quality standards. We decided 10 years ago to live in each country we promote and to understand the culture, people and places of our host country. We want to offer safe, authentic travel experiences and not rely on someone else on the ground to design our tours.
2. We trust our service providers (and you can too!)
We have done our best to “handpick” each of our drivers, guides and pool of accommodations we recommend. Why leave your trip up to chance? You can be worry-free, because we know the people who will be taking care of you.
3. We are dedicated to problem-solving
What sets a company apart is how they respond when something goes wrong. Within our power, we go above and beyond to help clients with issues that arise when traveling abroad. Each traveler will have the phone number of our American representative in Morocco and the representative will be ready and eager to assist you to the best of their ability.
4. We are committed to custom design
From the very beginning, we built this company by listening to your desires and creating trips that matched. We are committed to custom-design travel! We don’t use fancy software to generate tours from a box, but create each tour by hand, listening to you and your needs. We’ve adjusted our recommendations based on hundreds of travelers’ feedback, as well as our firsthand experience.
5. We keep a high standard of quality – even if it means sacrificing number of tours
We have decided never to let money to be the driving factor of our business or our tours. We offer high quality tours at an incredible value. Once we have booked out our handpicked drivers or accommodations, we shut down our tours. We are advocates of responsible tourism, with the end goal to provide the most benefit to each concerned.
