Sahara Desert
One of the must sees of Morocco are the sand dunes on the edge of the Sahara Desert.
Although they are located a fulls day drive from Marrakech or Fes, the dunes offer a wide variety of options.
The dunes are easily accessible by 4 x 4 from Erfoud (40 minute drive).
Once you arrive at the dunes, you can choose to spend the night in the little inn on the edge of dunes OR take a camel trek into the Oasis to sleep in the Berber tents.
For those looking for a little more excitement, take a try on the sand boards or skis.
