Thank you for all your help in getting our hotel reservations and the assistance while we were in the country. One of the things that had a major impact on my experience was the visit to the Catacombs and El Djem. Njaal was a great guide for the catacombs and his comments really touched my heart.

We very much enjoyed our Tunisia tour. Rafik was very polite, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Our driver was excellent too. We realized how important it was to have a driver who knows the roads and regions well, particularly in the southern parts of the country.

We were somewhat surprised by the diversity of the country and much more European influence in the northern regions than anticipated. We were also surprised at how cold it was this time of year — a snow storm followed us from Dougga. Continue Reading

Our party was three older women whose primary reason for a trip to Tunisia was to visit a family memorial in the North Africa American Cemetery outside Tunis. We had confidence in our trip because its details were handled by Experience It Tours. Our additional two days of sight-seeing and shopping to the Bardo, Dhugga, Sidi bou Said, and the Tunis medina were wonderful, made so by a guide and driver they supplied. We recommend them highly to anyone visiting Tunisia.

We had a wonderful time in Tunisia and really enjoyed our Sahara Tour.

Mohammed was our guide and driver and he was excellent. One of my traveling companions is fluent in French, so Mohammed mostly spoke French and she translated. The rest of us knew some French as well and so we were able to communicate just fine. He was a very responsible driver and the vehicle was in good condition with working seat belts. He was very warm and welcoming and taught us a lot about his country and about Eid, as our tour was during the 3 day celebration. He really tried to make sure that our tour included what we wanted to do and was willing to work with us to make our experience as good as possible. I am a vegetarian and he was also great about arranging appropriate food for me with the restaurant in Chenini and at the campsite in advance. Continue Reading

We had a wonderful time in Tunisia thanks to you Rafik. You made our trip an exciting experience. Your knowledge of Tunisian history was outstanding and you presented it in a way that was understandable . WE REALY LIKED THE FORMER ROMAN CITIES AND THE WAY THEY LIVED. You were most helpful at all the hotels and restaurants. You always allowed free time at sites of interest. When any changes were required you always consulted us and discussed options. We will certainly recommend you to anyone that desires to visit Tunisia.

We were also impressed with ANDIDI ADEL as an excellent driver. You sure made a good team.

Eliel, we were well pleased with all of your services and will consider MOROCCO next year. We are plannig a trip to Europe to see the Christmas markets in DEC. At 93 yrs I DO NOT PLAN TOO FAR AHEAD!

Overall, I enjoyed the trip very much. I chose to go because it was an opportunity to see some of Tunisia as much as for the Roman and other ruins. (I am not a specialist in this area.)

Apart from the places we visited and the opportunity to see the towns, cities, countryside and to meet some of the people, I think the factor that contributed most to the success of the trip was our guide, Rafik. He showed a very good knowledge of the sites, as well as the country as a whole, and was willing to discuss issues, engage in debate and answer questions on a wide range of topics. He did all this with good humour. In addition, and importantly, he provided essential day to day information and advice necessary for travellers on what was at most time a quite full schedule. He also attended quietly in individual travellers’ needs on a number of occasions. Our driver, Mohamed Ali, was also excellent – calm, competent and apparently unflappable. Continue Reading

My wife Bernice and I had a terrific time in Tunisia. We still think about it all the time.  We would love to come back sometime.
