Sahara Desert Climate

The Sahara’s desert weather is said to have been recognized for about five million years ago in the time of Pliocene Epoch. For the past 2,000 years the climate of Sahara has remained unchanged, except during 16th and 18t century. The Sahara’s climate comprises basically two sub-climates, a dry subtropical atmosphere in the north and dry tropical climate in the south, having a 15 day Libya Sahara tours or Great South morocco tours would be just amazing.

The dry tropical climate is usually distinguished by mild, dry winters, a hot dry term just before the rainy season, and an once a year temperature cycle. The dry subtropical climate, on the other hand, is characterized by yearly high temperature ranges, cold winters, and hot summers and as well with two rainy seasons. There is a narrow slip in the western portion of the Sahara, along the coast that commonly has cool temperatures contrasted to the rest of the Sahara because of the influence of the cold Canary Current.
